Biography

About the year 2000 Chad Ackles, Jared Colliss and Andrew Williams started a little band called 720. In the band we had drums, acoustic guitar and vocals. In the end we ended up with one song called "FEDERAL CRIME". After that we realized that it was going nowhere so we gave up on it. Later in 2001 Andrew got an electric guitar, Chad got new drums and they asked thier friend Mark Shruiff to get a bass and join the new band Stupid Cooper. So Mark went and got a bass and the 3 started jamming. They started playing in the basement of Chad`s house. Then as they got better started playing for thier friends at parties. Then they played in front of the school one day and one of the teachers who had a recording studio asked them if they wanted to record a demo cd. Of course they said yes and they went to his house one day and recorded 6 songs. They brought them back to marks house and started burning more copies to sell to their friends. After listening to the cd a lot they decided it would sound better if they had a full time singer instead of mark singing and playing bass. So they talked to Jared and asked him to sing. At first he didn`t really want to because he was trying to start his own band. In the end he decided he would join Stupid Cooper. They started playing together and renamed the band ON THE GREEN, it was sounding good. They made 2 new songs and worked on doing some cover songs. Now they are writing songs and practising as much as possible and will be making a new cd asap.
